The new igale 3000 gaming system is designed to be easy to use, secure, and above all reliable. The system is based around a transactional SQL database that is used to store all gaming transactions, provide prize management, agency configuration, and centralised reporting.

Easy reliable communication

Communications with the Central Host system utilises TCP/IP, with both Internet access and direct dial access. Data is both encrypted and sequenced for security and audit ability, thus ensuring transactions cannot be lost, corrupted, or interfered with.

Colour GUI

Agency selling terminals provide a touch screen colour, graphical user interface that improves operator efficiency, reduces keying errors, and makes all functions simple to perform. Automated communications (store & forward mode) removes the burden of having to remember to transfer critical data, and also allows operators to continue selling tickets.

Store and forward or on-line modes

The software is designed to work in either store and forward mode or on-line mode. Store and Forward mode allows for installations where permanent communications is not possible, and on-line mode can be used where either a permanent private network is used, or a permanent Internet based network can be used.

The igale Host System has also been designed to be able to forward transactions through to other Lottery suppliers.
